07 : Ratnagiri
Deccan odyssey reaches Ratnagiri, which is best-known for its fertile

from an ancient story, according to which once Hindu Lord Ganpati took
the words of a native lady quite personally and moved to 'Pule' from Gule,
his original abode; and hence the temple was named Ganpati-Pule. The presiding
