Day 1 : Mauritius
Arrive Mauritius and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for
optional activities. Dinner and
overnight.
Day 2 : Pamplemousses Gardens - Port Louis
Breakfast. Full day tour to the north of the island. Visit Pamplemousses Gardens,
ranking amongst the finest botanical gardens in the world, particularly famous
for the giant water lilies, a Spice Garden, and the Talipot Palms, said to
flower once every 60 years. Proceed to Port Louis, the capital city and its
Le Caudan waterfront with its array of souvenir shops.

Day 3 : Mauritius - Ile Aux Cerfs
Breakfast. Enjoy a full day excursion to Ile Aux Cerfs, a beautiful island
resort. Enjoy the beauty of fine white sand and clear blue waters. Go parasailing
and water skiing on your own. Return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 : Mauritius - South Island
Breakfast. Enjoy a full day tour of South Island. Visit Trou Aux Cerfs, the
crater of an extinct volcano at Curepipe and Grand Bassin, one of the island's
natural lakes and Chamarel.

5 : Mauritius
Breakfast. Day free to enjoy the sun n sand or take an optional trip
to Domaine Les Pailles for a glimpse of Mauritian history.

Casela Bird Park
Set in magnificent surroundings between Bambous and Tamarine in the Riviere
Noire district, the Casela Bird Park hosts more than 140 species of birds
from five continents. Admire the American SparrowHawks, Peacocks, Pheasants,
Pink Pigeon (one of the rarest in the world) and more.
» La Vanille Crocodile Park
Located in the glittering rainforests, the La Vanille Crocodile Park is one
of the main attractions of southern Mauritius. This haven of lush tropical
flora is home to more than a thousand Nile Crocodiles and other animals like
monkeys, stags, fruit bats and tortoises. Walk through luxuriant vegetation,
studded with fresh water springs and experience nature at its best.
» Domaine Les Pailles
Nested between mountains in the midst of lush vegetation, this cultural centre
has a working replica of an ox-powered sugar mill, a rum distillery and a
herb garden. In the middle of sugar cane fields, the aroma of roasted coffee,
aloe and other oriental spices fills the air around the old authentic sugar
mill. There is a childrens play area and a riding centre with restaurants
and casino.
» South Island
Curepipe is the centre of a spread-out suburban area, and offers some good
shopping opportunities. Its main attraction for visitors, though, is an extinct
volcano, Trou aux Cerfs, west of the town near the botanical gardens, with
a massive wooded crater floor. Apart from the crater, it is a good place for
shopping. Also situated in the South Island is Grand Bassin, the sacred place
for a large number of Mauritians of Hindu faith, especially on the occasion
of Maha Shivaratree. It is a natural lake resting in the crater of an extinct
volcano. Also worth visiting are Casela Bird Park and Chamarel
